Why we exist
Every year, many people travel to Istanbul for dental treatment. Most of what they read before they go is written to sell: clinic websites show their best cases, package sites show the lowest price.
Very little is written to help someone decide. So we set out to answer the questions patients need answered before they book, as plainly and honestly as we can, including when the answer is "this may not be right for you."
How we check what we publish
Entry rules and regulation come from government sources, such as the Ministry of Health, the U.S. State Department and the UK FCDO, and we name them.
Treatment pages are written for review by a licensed dentist, and each page shows its review status.
Every guide carries a "last updated" date. Rules change, so we recheck them regularly.
If something here is wrong or out of date, tell us and we'll fix it.
How we're paid, in plain words.
Today, we charge patients nothing and receive no fees from any clinic, hotel or travel company.
If that changes, for example if we are paid by a clinic when a patient we introduce is treated, we will say so here and on that clinic's profile, before you make any decision.
